Infographics

I recently did my co-op placement at Goodfellow Creative in Ottawa, Ontario. One of the things that I did when I was there was make infographics for them to use in their blog posts and on their social media pages.

For the infographics, I was given a text document with all of the statistics and sources. I was told to make the infographics look fun and a little business-ey.

The first thing I did once I got the text is read all the statistics, and make sketches for the illustrations for each stat. While I was doing the sketches, I was also thinking about how I would be laying everything out. Once I was done sketching, I brought the sketches into Illustrator and created vector versions of the illustrations. Once I was done the illustrations, I started working on the layout.
